Eagle Mountain City is now home to two highly advanced weather stations paid for and maintained by Utah State University. These two stations, located near the Rodeo Grounds and Nolen Park will collect very precise weather data for the City of Eagle Mountain to use in coordination with the USU WaterMAPS and WaterChecks programs.
The WaterMAPS program uses advanced mapping and data collection methods to identify where in the City is using too much water based on landscape and vegetation types. The USU WaterChecks program is a free service that can help residents determine the best watering schedule for their property. This service helps reduce water bills and ensures there is plenty of water to go around.
